3. Face-to-face teaching is most effective. The goal is always one instructor for one student. Face-to-face teaching with carefully sequenced materials produces learner achievement. Change of Mind consistently maintains a 99.6% success rate.

4. Achievement can be guaranteed. The learner will advance one grade level score in basic reading, spelling or math skills after 30 hours of direct instruction in that subject or Change of Mind will provide 10 additional hours at no charge.

5. The computer does not replace the instructor. Computers can be a valuable teaching tool and can play a key support role in direct instruction. But we strongly believe that face-to-face instruction is crucial to long-term success

6. Direct Instruction is the most thoroughly learner-verified model in American education. Fourteen Direct Instruction projects have been certified as exemplary by the U.S. Department of Education.
